Job Summary:
This is an entry level HR Specialist role responsible for providing human resources support to the HR Department and employees as appropriate. Under supervision of the Sr. HRBP Manager as well as other HR Managers, performs a wide variety of professional human resource services.  


Roles & Responsibilities
This position has responsibility for:
•    Assist the Senior HR Specialist with Onboarding and conducting background check verifications.  
•    In collaboration with HRBP support team members assists with the completion and submission of requisitions to the Operations team for posting.
•    May assist Immigration with I-9 compliance audits.
•    Provide back up support for the maintenance of a variety of highly confidential employment related documents, and for the integrity and accuracy of the personnel files.
•    HR Point of contact for the JIRA system. Interacts with employees and management regarding various HR inquiries and issues through the system.
•    Assist the Senior HR Specialist in administering rewards and recognition programs, Spotlights and Milestone Service Awards.   
•    Back up for various HR processes (Benefits, gift cards, business cards).
•    Serve as back up for receptionist related duties such as visitor sign-in and issuing badges, handling mail and packages, managing the mail meter, printing Fed Ex labels, etc.) on an as needed basis. Provide other back-up receptionist support on an as needed basis.
•    May be assigned to assist with continuous improvement projects in collaboration with other HR functional groups.
•    Other duties assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Experience and Skills)
•    0 to 1 year of work experience
•    Strong customer service
•    Must work well independently and as part of team
•    Intermediate MS Office and HR systems
•    Ability to analyze problems
•    Must be able to maintain highly confidential and proprietary information
 

Education Requirements
•    Associate Degree in Human Resources or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience


Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

USD 24.04 - 31.25 per hour
