Job Title: Engineer, Product Engineering
Job Duties: Ensure successful characterization of new semiconductor products by defining production test plans and launching new products into high volume production. Take responsibility for Yield enhancement, analysis of RMA customer returns, and change control during production. Interface with Design, Test, Manufacturing, Reliability, Applications, Foundry and Marketing groups to identify opportunities, drive projects to completion, and verify effectiveness. Responsibilities will also include: new product introduction; product sustaining through the application of data analysis skills; change control, including electrical characterization to support change qualification; and failure analysis to study factors that impact yields.
Required education: Master of Science or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related.
Additional minimum requirements: academic semester-long coursework, internship or work experience to include at least 6 months with each of the following:
1.) Product Engineering activities relating to lifecycle of RFIC’s;
2.) LNA, and PA;
3.) Performance validation using RF measurement equipment;
4.) Data analysis tools including Exensio;
5.) Evaluating large datasets and applying statistical methods to draw conclusions.
40 hours/ week. Job site/ interview: San Diego, CA. Salary $119,434 – $120,546 / year. EOE
