Job Title: Engineer, RF/EM Design
Job Duties: Work on EM optimization and design of advanced RF Front End ICs and modules for pSemi’s RF product division. Provide EM/passive/module design support for diverse teams developing RFICs and modules for obtaining performance and cost optimized product results. Maintain simulation tools and work closely with RFIC engineers to perform co-simulation of complex RF/EM models to optimize application performance. Support products throughout the entire product life cycle from product definition through product release to end-of-life.
Required education: Master’s degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related.
Additional minimum requirements: academic semester-long coursework or 6 months of work experience in the following:
- Couplers, inductors, filters, transformers, splitters, antennas;
- S-parameters, noise figure, stability, P1dB, harmonics, IMD, IIP2/3, isolation and coupler directivity;
- AWR Microwave Office;
- HFSS, HFSS 3D layout, EMX, Momentum, Sonnet, Axiem;
- Python, C, C++.
40 hours/ week. Job site/ interview: San Diego, CA.
Salary Range $120,000 -$132,000/ year.
