Global Sales Distribution Manager

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and grow our global distribution network, driving performance, strategic alignment, and revenue growth. As the Global Sales Distribution Manager, reporting to the Senior Director, Global Sales Management, you will be responsible for managing worldwide distributor relationships, optimizing channel strategy, and executing best-in-class distribution practices. Your leadership will directly influence demand creation, design win activity, and sales enablement across global markets. The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of strategic thinking, operational discipline, and cross-functional collaboration to accelerate market penetration and scale customer acquisition through distribution partners.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

This position has responsibility for:

 

Distribution Strategy & Channel Development

  • Define and execute a global distribution strategy aligned with growth objectives and go-to-market plans.
  • Continuously assess and optimize the distribution network to improve coverage, performance, and channel value.
  • Reshape the distribution channel for scalable growth by refining partner tiers, roles, and market responsibilities.

Partner Management & Enablement

  • Develop strong, trust-based relationships with global distribution partners.
  • Drive distributor engagement through regular business reviews, joint planning sessions, and training programs.
  • Ensure distributor alignment with corporate priorities, regional sales initiatives, and product launches.

Demand Creation & Funnel Management

  • Track and manage design registration activity globally, including approval rates, conversion to wins, and associated revenue.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy in the distributor design funnel, focusing on high-impact customer opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales, FAE, and marketing teams to accelerate demand creation through aligned engagement.

Sales Performance & KPI Management

  • Monitor and analyze distributor KPIs, including DR approval/rejection rates, DR conversion (wins), and revenue impact; POS revenue and customer count trends; Distributor margin and profitability; Inventory turns and backlog coverage.
  • Drive distributor accountability with data-driven reviews and targeted action plans.

Operational Excellence & Channel Processes

  • Establish and manage scalable processes for onboarding, design registration, pricing management, and reporting.
  • Ensure distributor compliance with contracts, pricing policies, and system integration requirements.
  • Improve operational transparency through dashboards and tools (e.g., CRM, POS, DR platforms).

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Act as the voice of the channel internally, providing feedback to product marketing, sales, and operations.
  • Partner closely with regional sales, supply chain, and marketing teams to align distributor efforts with corporate objectives.
  • Support S&OP and forecast planning with channel-specific insights and analytics.

 

Minimum Qualifications (Experience and Skills)

  • 8 + years of experience in sales, channel/distribution management, or business development roles within the semiconductor industry.
  • Proven success managing a global distribution network or channel program with measurable sales impact.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor sales cycles, distributor programs, and POS/Design Registration processes.
  • Experience using CRM and sales analytics platforms to manage pipelines and distributor performance.
  • Ability to influence and lead through collaboration across sales, marketing, and operations teams.
  • Track record of executing channel development initiatives and driving revenue growth through distributors.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, up to 25%.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Deep knowledge of the semiconductor sales ecosystem and distribution channels.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and channel performance metrics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and commercial acumen with a hands-on execution mindset.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities, including experience driving cross-functional initiatives.
  • Customer- and results-focused, with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and a team-oriented leadership style

 

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Business, or a related technical or commercial field.
  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

USD: 149,726.39 - 194,655.08 per hour
