Job Summary
The primary function of this role is to provide administrative support to the human resources function in the areas of HRIS, payroll, compensation and benefits, including reception and administrative responsibilities. Under the supervision of the Director for Global Total Rewards, HR Systems & Operations, the Human Resources Specialist is often the first point of contact for employees, candidates and external stakeholders who need help from HR, and is responsible for responding to questions timely and escalating as appropriate.
Roles & Responsibilities
HR Specialist Functions
• Providing support to HR systems and processes as needed, including but not limited to:
o Data gathering, entering data and changes in designated HR and company platforms
o Running standard reports
o Launching, tracking and managing standard forms
o Resetting passwords
• Supporting the HRIS, payroll, compensation and benefits functions
• Uploading pSemi documents to company-approved software
• Providing information to employees on matters pertaining to their personal employee information
• Assisting with projects and HR operational deliverables
• Other duties as assigned
Reception and Administrative Functions
• Managing main front desk duties including but not limited to:
o Answering the main HR phone line and managing voice mails
o Greeting and assisting visitors
o Managing the company electronic sign-in / badge system and process
o Assisting with organizing, distributing, and mailing of paychecks, earning statements, etc.
o Managing the mail meter, printing Fed Ex labels, handling mail and packages
• Coordinating travel requests and the approval process, working with employees and travel agents, and securing approval of appropriate management team members
• Monitoring supply inventory and ordering supplies
• Managing conference rooms including assisting with room scheduling
• Creating monthly new hire & service award newsletters
• Assisting departments with events, planning and catering of offsite meetings, celebrations, etc.
• Supporting other HR administrative tasks
Minimum Qualifications (Experience and Skills)
• 2+ years of experience in an administrative role
• Demonstrated experience managing frequently changing priorities from various internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent customer service
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Must be highly organized and able to prioritize multiple shifting priorities
• Detail oriented
• Intermediate MS office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in Human Resources
• Experience in Successfactors, Dayforce, MS Teams, Zoom, SharePoint
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Ability to work in a team environment
Education Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

USD 24.75 - 32.17 per hour
