Senior Associate, Shipping and Receiving

Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing excellent customer support and training team members in maintaining high level of inventory accuracy and error free shipments to Peregrine customers. The individual will also perform receiving of production and non-production items against purchase orders, issue/ ship and receive production material to/from production floor. The position will perform necessary transactions in the company ERP system, create training documentation, and responsible for cycle counting.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

This position has responsibility for:

  • Daily review ERP report for customer shipments. Pick, pack and prepare shipments with required documents and ship in timely manner.
  • Shipping product and material domestically and internationally using standard shipment carrier software and ERP systems.
  • Receive product and material against PO, Job Order, MTR, RMA  etc., correctly put away and transact in the ERP system.
  • Pick and Issue or ship production material per Job Order. 
  • Perform cycle counts and physical inventory counts as required.
  • Accurately perform transactions in the ERP system or other supporting systems as the tasks require.
  • Train team members on current procedures
  • Process Incoming Receipts in ERP System
  • Create International Shipping Documentation
  • Ship Sales Orders within ERP system
  • Pick and Issue Material to Job orders within ERP system
  • Transfer stock within ERP system
  • Perform/ Initiate Cycle counts
  • Process RMA receipts
  • Corrections and Returns to Vendors
  • Process Material Transfer Requests
  • Use Shipping software programs such as DHL and FedEx to process shipments
  • Perform Plant Clearance
  • Perform return to vendors
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Experience and Skills)

  • Minimum 5 years of experience
  • Prior experience working with ERP systems a must
  • Prior experience working in Electronics Industry
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new applications quickly
  • Proficiency in MS Word as Intermediate user
  • Proficiency in MS Excel as Intermediate user

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Minimum Salary:    $36,673.76
Maximum Salary:    $47,682.21
