Technician, Quality Assurance (D Shift)

Job Summary

This position is responsible for ensuring the pSemi QMS (Quality Management System) is robust and meeting all customer and industry standards. This individual will work hand-in-hand with existing Quality Engineering and Management to ensure the above process is compliant. This individual will inspect and perform audits of both material and processes.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

This position has responsibility for:

  • Inspections of product to ensure compliance
  • Maintain QA inspection records/database and generate reports
  • Generate/Revise pSemi formal documentation
  • Initiate non-conforming material reports, including the Monthly Review Board process
  • Perform Internal Audits

Minimum Qualifications (Experience and Skills)

  • Minimum of 1 year of Semiconductor IC experience
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Team player
  • Good verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure as well as hand multiple tasks effectively
  • High Volume, High Tech manufacturing environment experience
  • Flexibility in work schedule to support Production Floor schedule

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Agile document control system
  • Experience or knowledge of cleanrooms (Class 10K and 100K)
  • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, experienced and proficient in DMAIC process
  • Certified auditor to conduct ISO9001:2015/IATF16949/AS9100D audits internally and on suppliers

 

Education Requirements

  • High School &/or AA degree in Electronics/Engineering/Physical Science

 

Work Environment

This job operates in operates in a manufacturing lab environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Salary Minimum: $22.17

Salary Maximum: $28.80
