The Business Process Analyst is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize the supply chain and distribution processes and increase efficiency in the movement of goods. This position will analyze data and market trends to identify potential risks and opportunities. The Business Process Analyst creates and implements plans for transportation, inventory management, and distribution innovation to support overall business objectives. This role works closely with other departments including Finance, Sales Operations, Information Technology, and SCM including Warehousing and Logistics to visualize and identify areas of cost reduction and efficiency improvements.

What To Expect (Essential Job Responsibilities)
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that supply chain strategies align with overall business objectives.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in business operations.
- Ensure that all operations’ activities comply with regulations and industry standards.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain risks.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the business operations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Analyzes process efficiencies and quality improvements related to all operations.
- Lead Kaizen activities to drive continuous improvement.
- Drafts standard operation procedures and documents all processes.
- Executes global supply chain initiatives and implements local process and system improvements.
Miscellaneous Job Responsibilities
- Makes revisions and reviews master settings in Operations-related systems.
- Creates and maintains training and standard operating procedure documentation.
- Prepares Operation reports (sales operations and supply chain management) with appropriate materials and data.
- Performs other job-related responsibilities and duties as assigned.
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; Logistics, Supply Chain, or Data Analytics is preferred.
- Intermediate or advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (e.g., queries, reporting, functions, etc.).
- Proficiency with technical languages (e.g., SQL, Python, etc).
- Experience creating professional presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Skilled in leveraging Business Intelligence Tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to solve problems and to demonstrate excellent analytical skills, including creation and analysis of data in all areas of Operations.
- Strong interpersonal skills including effective collaboration and communication skills, ability to work in a team-oriented environment, and strong time management skills.
- Skilled at evaluating and responding appropriately to situations to the benefit of the customer and the company.
- Experience designing workflows to streamline operational procedures.
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- MBA or Master’s in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, or Project Management.
- Proficiency in Supply Chain software (e.g., SAP, etc.).
- Basic understanding of AI/ML functionalities
- Strong Lean experience.
- Experience in a leadership or significant role in a major project.
