What To Expect (Essential Job Responsibilities)

Monitor and analyze security events as well as incidents to identify potential threats.
Conduct thorough investigations of security breaches and incidents.
Develop and implement incident response plans and procedures.
Collaborate with other teams to mitigate and resolve security incidents.
Perform forensic analysis to determine the root cause of incidents.
Maintain and update security tools and technologies.
Provide recommendations for improving security posture and incident response capabilities.
Prepare detailed reports and documentation of incidents and response actions.
Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.

What Is Required (Qualifications)

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, focusing on incident response.
Strong knowledge of security principles, techniques, and technologies.
Experience with security monitoring tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS).
Proficiency in forensic analysis and investigation techniques.
Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Security+ Cybersecurity certification.
Additional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH).
